Towers and tortoises: two puzzles, one common solution

Abstract

Different theories on the origins of Testudo marginata in Sardinia existing in the literature are evaluated, as well as the different theories of the builders of the 3,500 years old towers (Nuraghes). A possible connection between both is proposed.
