Modern technique of illumination in terraria used for tortoises

Abstract

Many different systems for lighting terraria are offered. This article describes the characteristics of the different systems, and their advantages and disadvantages. It compares those with natural sunlight and provides specific information about the eyes/vision of reptiles. Problems caused by low frequencies are named and methods to solve them are described.
